Meet Carliss Hardy

DTX - Blog - Carliss
When you buy a Brookfield Residential home, you’re never alone in the homebuilding process. Here in Frisco, Carliss Hardy is the Sales Lead who helps customers get acclimated with Brookfield as a builder and eases any stress in the homebuying process. “Chris is step one — he helps you choose your home and get the numbers squared away,” Carliss says. “Then once you’ve signed your contract, I’m the liaison that keeps you updated, answers any questions you might have, communicates with your builder about any issues, helps with any customizations, and cheers you on until you get your keys and move into your new home.”

With a background in real estate and a degree in journalism from Virginia Commonwealth University, Carliss is an expert in communication. “My love for real estate started in college, when I had an internship with a real estate agency,” Carliss says. “After that, I worked in the multifamily housing industry as an event coordinator, helping residents stay connected through memorable experiences like movie nights, community field days, and holiday events.”

After a stint as a communications and public affairs specialist in the higher education industry, Carliss is thrilled to be back in the world of real estate, working for Brookfield Residential at The Grove Frisco. “The homes we’re building at The Grove Frisco are gorgeous,” Carliss says. “We have a number of options to choose from, from homes on 40-foot sites to larger 55s, and our customers are able to select a home that is already started or build from the ground up. At the Design Center, customers can personalize their home, from choosing flooring, cabinets, and doorknobs to the exterior style of their home. They can also choose their location based on what we have available. And we walk with them through that entire process.”

Being able to work in The Grove Frisco was also a big draw for Carliss. “It’s such a family oriented neighborhood,” Carliss says. “It has such a welcoming, calm environment. There is a lot of nature — parks, jogging paths, a butterfly park, and a pier where people go fishing. I like nature aspects that promote wellness. There will be a new park right across from our model homes, and there are so many community activities and lots to choose from for families and kids. And, our homes are zoned to some of the best schools in Frisco ISD.”

When she’s not working, Carliss enjoys spending time with family and friends, and she’s a huge movie buff. She’s already discovered Spoon + Fork just around the corner from The Grove Frisco, and she’s looking forward to exploring all that the area has to offer. “It’s easy to leave your home in The Grove Frisco and make a quick drive down the street and everything you need is there,” Carliss says.
