Meet Chris Boyington

DTX - Blog - Chris Half
With a father who was an architectural engineer and a mother who helped design the iconic Holiday Inn Crown Plaza Hotel, it was only natural that Chris Boyington would end up working in the world of real estate. Today, as a New Home Counselor, Chris brings more than 14 years of homebuilding experience to helping customers through the home buying process. “It’s what I was meant to do,” Chris says. “I love processes — I’m very structured, and I like getting people from point A to the finish line in an efficient manner.”

Today, Chris is thrilled to be with Brookfield Residential as they enter the Frisco market as the newest builder in The Grove Frisco. Chris’s background includes his decades with customer home builders as well as more than 16 years working at the legendary design house Herman Miller, and he knows quality and style when he sees it. “This product is completely different — the standards are so high,” Chris says. “The hardwood floors in our 55-foot homes are so beautiful! We have black plumbing fixtures and five wood floor options that come as Standard Options, not upgrades. Who has that?! No one! That shows the level of all the things we can do for you. When I look through our design selections, there’s nothing but beautiful options. No one offers these kinds of materials —- Brookfield is listening to people, and building homes they’ve never built anywhere for this community. That’s what sealed the deal for me. I walked the plans before they were finished, and I was so impressed. This is really what buyers want.”

Chris enjoys getting to know each customer’s unique needs so he can help guide them to the right home “Maybe their kids are going to college, or maybe they want better schools for their kids,” Chris says. “That’s the best part is finding out what their issues are with their current home and why they’re moving. I like to make the process fun and easy for them. And then, once we’ve gone through the design process and the home is built, and we hand over the keys, knowing that they’ve built a home where their family will make memories — I’m very grateful to be part of a process that gives people a feeling of security and belonging.”

When he’s not working, Chris enjoys working out and playing golf, as well as spending time with his wife Angela and their family, particularly their 7-year-old grandson. “He loves swimming and playing with rolly pollies. And we play with the dogs – Zeus is our white English lab, who is 3, and Remington is our chocolate Doodle rescue, who is 7.”
